Recently someone asked if i had ever Google'd myself... and i have to admit that i am a little bit if a narcissist and that i did do it a few months ago (which actually helped me as i was looking for a website that appeared with my name... but that's a whole other story). This time i decided to do it again... and check out the "Google Images" for myself and it came back with an article written about SAYC with photos of some of the awesome leaders in it! So i thought i would post it here just to give you an idea of what it is to do a Salvation Army Youth Camp.
New Look for Youth Camp - SAYC photo
I have also included the RAKs i did during that time. So i hope you enjoy them as they took alot out of me... as the whole camp could have been considered a GIANT Act of Kindness! but i thought that would be a little bit of a cop out! So i persisted with my "little things", my little kindnesses.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this as I'm slowly trying to get these images/cards up of the RAK's i have been doing everyday since January 1, which will continue to December 31st.
Cheers,

From 2011 to 2016 I was pleased to be able to have done 365days where I did a kind deed every day(& 366days in the leap year)! In 2017 I am doing it again...my aim is to inspire others into action by showing them how simple it is to do kind acts for others. I do this by doing a kind act a day. I do this by sharing my story and some ideas for living a kinder life. Kinder for others, kinder for ourselves, kinder for the planet. Welcome to 365days of kindness!

Camp with teenagers!
Hi everyone,
Well sorry i havent had much of a chance to update everyone on how my 365days of kindness has been going! i have just spent the last week away with a bunch of teenagers for a Youth Camp run by the Salvation Army (SAYC)! It was pretty awesome! and i had around 3 hours worth of sleep per night! So pretty exhausted! But it was amazing to see some of these kids transformed by the loving environment they were in! Awesome!
You would think that going away on this camp for a week was my kindness for that whole week - after all i was a volunteer and didnt have to be there! But i made an effort everyday to do some kind of kindness for those on the camp! It was a lot of fun but physically, mentally and emotionally draining!
Anyways,
Im still learning how to do this blog thing! So i hope to upload the scans of my handwritten account of my 365 days of kindness. If anyone wants to help me out... let me know how i can do it! that would be awesome!
Hope your new year is still going really well!
