Well its kind of impressive for me that I am doing this more than once a month! :) I'm trying to upload these so that there is not so much work when it comes to December!
I guess then its kind of advanced laziness! The rest of January is included here...
WOW.... that means the first month of the year has been uploaded! YAY! 1/12th of the way there for the 365 days of kindness! :) Technically i have done more than 50% of it but 1/12th is now uploaded! :) YAY! I'm so happy i have been that organised! :)
Thanks for the support!

From 2011 to 2016 I was pleased to be able to have done 365days where I did a kind deed every day(& 366days in the leap year)! In 2017 I am doing it again...my aim is to inspire others into action by showing them how simple it is to do kind acts for others. I do this by doing a kind act a day. I do this by sharing my story and some ideas for living a kinder life. Kinder for others, kinder for ourselves, kinder for the planet. Welcome to 365days of kindness!

Finally a few more kindnesses to show! :) From the SAYC in January.
Recently someone asked if i had ever Google'd myself... and i have to admit that i am a little bit if a narcissist and that i did do it a few months ago (which actually helped me as i was looking for a website that appeared with my name... but that's a whole other story). This time i decided to do it again... and check out the "Google Images" for myself and it came back with an article written about SAYC with photos of some of the awesome leaders in it! So i thought i would post it here just to give you an idea of what it is to do a Salvation Army Youth Camp.
New Look for Youth Camp - SAYC photo
I have also included the RAKs i did during that time. So i hope you enjoy them as they took alot out of me... as the whole camp could have been considered a GIANT Act of Kindness! but i thought that would be a little bit of a cop out! So i persisted with my "little things", my little kindnesses.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this as I'm slowly trying to get these images/cards up of the RAK's i have been doing everyday since January 1, which will continue to December 31st.
Cheers,

Finally a few more kindnesses to show! :)
I know that its now July and I'm still working on scanning in the January cards, but my love for doing things by hand has outweighed my eagerness to share what i have been up to! :) So i hope you don't mind the wait... and enjoy these as ideas that can be used in everyday life, whether you are doing 365 Days of Kindness or you are doing Project 25. From doing something nice for your parent without having to be nagged to do it, or whether it be spending some of your hard earned cash to make another person smile! Its all one step closer to making this world a better place.
Enjoy.
I'll load some more soon.

HOW TIME FLYS!!!!
Well this is just a quick note so you know i haven't forgotten about this! I have been doing my Random Act of Kindness everyday in 2011, even though it is very hard to be willing to do it everyday. Particularly when you don't feel very gracious or even very well. But you would be proud I'm STILL going! I cant believe we are halfway through this all now! How time flies when your having fun! :)
I will be posting some more entries of my Scrapbook styled 365 Days of Kindness book. I love it and i show it to my family and friends just so that they can see it is possible! :) Good things do happen in the world!
I hope this finds you all well! And willing to perform Random Acts of Kindness for people around you!
Cheers,

And it gets harder...
One of the basic rules in my world has always been, treat others as you would like to be treated! I find it so very strange when others expect you to do things for them yet when the tables are turned they are not willing to be so open and find it strange when they are asked or i expect the same in return.
I am not saying that we shouldnt still behave as though you would want to be treated... but this last few months when sharing kindness around... i have struggled with a few situations that maybe you can help me with.
Firstly, What do you do when someone sneezes on a train and you say "bless you" and that someone yells at you because that isnt it their belief system? For me it was a kindness... for him it was a curse. Not quite what my intention was... but does that make it a kindness?... if someone takes offence to what you are going for them... even something as simple as saying "bless you" to a stranger?
Finally, Stubborn People: Its a problem i face with almost everyone. (lol. My mother would say the same about me though! :) You try and lend a hand (also rack up a kindness) but they are determined to do it themselves even if it looks like it will kill them? Can you insist of being stubborn yourself? take over? do what needs to be done... and still call it a kindness to that person?
Kindness, i thought would be easy to do ... one everyday... i thought it would be fun to accomplish. I mean I could claim that it would be a selfish venture in so much as i want others to be kind to me... and kind to their community... but my whole purpose for this particular project was to inspire, be selfless and have fun. But i do struggle!
I particularly struggle when it comes to the point when im sick and im grumpy (PMS or PMT... someone suggested was the worst)... but i still have been endevouring to do something for someone else! Send a text message to someone who needs love sent to them in a tough time... and this also means i dont have to get out of bed (when the world feels like its going to spin really fast when i try to sit up)... When sick i also help those closest to me when i dont have the energy to face the rest of the world... Even though i am struggling, i am still persisting and i think that was the most important point in the whole thing! :)
So i know that this is not the most positive blog post that i have ever made... but i think through it you may understand me better... and understand what it has been like... struggling to keep my word and do what i said i would do for the betterment of the world. After all... i want to be treated as i treat other people, and that is with kindness, generosity and love... even on a tough day! :)

January 1 - 2011 - Day One of 365 days of kindness
Why is it always after you post something... you realise how scruffy your handwriting is?! lol!
I always find for me... that hand written things are far more personal than the typed word! :) So here is my 1st days good deed / kindness! Hope this helps to give you inspiration in your endevors!
How hard is it to do a kind deed a day...
Well so far i have been excellent in recording my kindness a day... but not so good in doing any blog updates! Im terrible at doing this... particularly when i have weeks when i dont want to be on the computer... but experiencing real life... or i get so hooked in real life... i forget my virtual responsibilities!
So i have the first week of kindnesses done all-nice-like in the scrapbooking style...so i can just slot in the info and be ready to go... but i keep meaning to post them on here. I am trying to keep this as annonymous as possible for my friends as well as for everyone who ever comes to read this! :) Random acts of kindness... can be in the choice of random people to be kind to, or something that appears a little random to you. Doing something you wouldnt normally do for someone you know and love is just as acceptable as a RAK!
FOR those who read, and know me, im keeping names confidencial... yet you'll know if you have been "kindness-ed" (i know its not a word... but it is now)! :)
I have been finding it really hard to go out of my way to do a kind deed for those around me... even though i have succeeded in doing it! :)
As i was thinking about this i was weighing the merits of Random Acts of Kindness with just being Kind to those around you. There are things you do in everyday life that you would never have thought of as RAK that are still kindnesses! Yet most of the time you dont appear to think of them that way! So, if you do something regularly that is a kindness... thats ok to do too. I mean everything for the greater cause! Kindness is essential in promoting a better life for all!
Anyways, that is enough of me having my say for now... hoping to get the list started for my Kindness Calendar! :)
