Project 25 - relaunched for 2012!

Hello again lads and ladies, This is just an update on whats been happening in the last few weeks! No more uploads just yet... i know I'm a little slack... and for that i am sorry! But i have just finished my masters degree at University, so i have a little more time to commit to getting this out there in the future! :)

Well after Facebook telling me that the 'group' i had, that this blog was inspired from, was to be archived. I have managed to create a 'page' for "Project 25 - Random Acts of Kindness". I have very little experience with the pages and groups and even blogs... as you can probably tell my sporadic blogging here... But Project 25 was my first idea of how to make the world a better place.

For those that do not know the history of Project 25, i will share a little of it here with you. On my 24th Birthday (June 2009) I decided that i didn't want presents the next year... instead i wanted other people to do stuff as a 'gift' to me and send me a small report. Then i began to realize what a small vision that was and wanted people to try and do as many Random Acts of Kindness as they could in a whole year. So that by my 25th Birthday (hence Project 25) there would be people all over the world helping out others in their communities and with people they had come in contact with, no matter how fleeting!

So in the time between my birthdays (June 2009 - June 2010), a whole year we managed to write approximately 35 Random Acts of Kindness Reports to share - if you are interested you can always check out the Facebook page in the 'Photos' as i have now uploaded the photos of Project 25's reports! They are amazing! Worth a read! :)

So i was trying to encourage people to be more active and this year was my new attempt for Project 25 - Random Acts of Kindness 2011. I wanted to be a great role model so my wacky idea of 365 Days of Kindness came to fruition. I wanted to make sure that this year we had more than only 35 reports so one for everyday has been my challenge. I have still been receiving some RAK reports from others and that has been amazing... but i keep trying to encourage others to report what they are doing in their communities! If you're on Facebook and want to tell me an RAK you can always Private message me and i can put your kindnesses up with mine (and keep it annonymous if you want!). :) The original aim for Project 25 was 1000 kindnesses in a year.... and i probably have about 375 at the moment... so please feel free to add as many as you like of the things you have done this year to the facebook page!

Well, thats all from me at the moment. I want to thank everyone who has been supporting me, Project 25 - Random Acts of Kindness and 365days-of-kindness.blogspot.com as you have all made a really big difference in my life... and those around you by acting kindly!

Peace be with you!
Luv Daena
